Team Kentucky Solar Eclipse

The Eclipse

Dubbed “The Great American Eclipse”, this astronomical event is the first solar eclipse in almost 100 years to pass over both the Pacific and Atlantic coasts. Though the total eclipse passes through just 12 states, a partial eclipse will be visible across the entirety of North America.

Hopkinsville, Kentucky was selected as the launch location for specific reason, as this is where the total length of the total eclipse is to peak – at 2 minutes and 40 seconds. See maps of the eclipse at: https://www.greatamericaneclipse.com/
